A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT

What should an academy prepare before ordering custom teamwear?

For a BJJ academy order, start with the garments needed, quantity per size, adult or youth fit, logo files and delivery destination. TONTON can review coordinated custom Rash Guards and grappling shorts, with materials, measurements and the applicable MOQ confirmed for the selected project.

Reviewed October 15, 2026 · TONTON Product Development & Quality Control Team · Based on published product specifications and customer-supplied production references.

Three decisions to make before sampling

01

Choose the garments and training use

Specify a Rash Guard, grappling shorts or a coordinated set. Confirm sleeve length, shorts cut and liner preference for daily training or an event. Check event requirements separately before calling a garment competition-ready.

02

Build a quantity-by-size list

List garment quantities separately: a member may need a different top and shorts size. Separate adult and youth requirements, request measurement guidance and confirm the fit on samples before collecting the final member order.

03

Approve a repeatable academy identity

Send the logo, color references and placement notes for chest, sleeve, back and shorts. Identify sponsor marks and individual names early, and approve their scale and position before production.

COMPARE REAL PRODUCT REFERENCES

Connect your brief to a garment you can inspect

Browse custom Rash Guards or custom BJJ & MMA shorts for more construction directions.

Make the next member order easier to specify

Keep the approved sample, measurement chart, artwork files and order reference together. For a reorder, state which items must match and which sizes or quantities change. Material availability, color reproduction, minimums and timing need a fresh review; a repeat order is not an automatic guarantee of identical stock or schedule.

BUYER QUESTIONS

BJJ academy uniform ordering FAQ

Can an academy order matching Rash Guards and grappling shorts?

Yes. Start with a coordinated team-kit brief and list the required garments, artwork and quantity per size separately. The sample confirms how the graphics and colors work across the two garments.

Can adult and youth sizes be included in one academy project?

Include both ranges in the brief so the team can review the patterns, measurements and quantity breakdown. Do not assume that scaling an adult garment produces the right youth fit; review the applicable samples and order terms.

What is the minimum order for a custom BJJ academy uniform?

TONTON advertises custom projects from 10 pieces. Confirm how that minimum applies to your garments, designs, colors and size breakdown before planning member allocations or collecting payments.

What should we keep for a future academy reorder?

Keep the approved artwork version, measurement chart, fabric and construction specification, sample and previous order reference. Send the new size quantities and any changes so availability, MOQ and timing can be checked again.

Send the brief. Confirm the specification together.

Product direction and intended use are preselected. Add your quantities, size range, artwork status and contact details. TONTON reviews the requirements before confirming materials, sampling, quotation and schedule.
