A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT

What does a private-label fightwear project need?

A private-label fightwear project needs more than a logo: define the target wearer, product construction, size range, artwork, labels and quantity by style. TONTON supports OEM / ODM review for custom Rash Guards, BJJ / MMA shorts and coordinated collections, with final scope confirmed against the approved sample.

Reviewed October 15, 2026 · TONTON Product Development & Quality Control Team · Based on published product specifications and customer-supplied production references.

Three decisions to make before sampling

01

Define one clear first product

Choose the wearer, use and silhouette before adding collection variants. Compare sleeve length, fabric weight, opacity, seams, shorts split and liner requirements against the reference product that best fits your concept.

02

Separate artwork from garment engineering

A finished graphic does not define a pattern or fit. Send technical measurements when available, plus panel artwork, logo placement, color references and labels. If you have references only, identify where development support is needed.

03

Approve the complete sample

Review the garment on the intended wearer: measurements, movement, print alignment, seams and skin contact. Include labels, care copy and packaging in approval notes when they are part of the order.

Customer-Supplied Project Evidence

These original customer-supplied photographs show separate completed private-label references. Use them to compare branding possibilities, rather than treating them as one product specification or a promise of brand results.

Carry the approved specification into production

Record the accepted sample version and any remaining changes before bulk production. Agree the inspection points for measurements, print, seams, labels and packing. For future drops, identify the approved details to repeat and review material availability and color references again. Request confidentiality arrangements before sharing sensitive designs; do not assume an NDA is already in place.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Private-label fightwear development FAQ

Does TONTON support private-label Rash Guards and fight shorts?

Yes. Send a product brief covering the target wearer, style, fit, materials, artwork, labels and quantities. TONTON reviews OEM / ODM requirements and confirms the available development and production scope for the project.

Do I need a complete tech pack to start?

A complete tech pack helps define measurements and construction, but you can start with logos and clear product references. State which specifications are ready and which need development; the final pattern, artwork and sample still require approval.

What affects the price of private-label fightwear?

Product construction, material choice, quantity by style, artwork, labels and packaging affect the quotation. Shipping destination and delivery requirements also need review. TONTON confirms a written project-specific quote rather than a universal unit price.

Can a reference sample be copied as our own design?

Use references to explain fit, construction or visual direction. Supply your own approved branding and artwork, and confirm that you have permission to use any supplied assets. Customer photographs on this page are evidence of previous work, not artwork offered for reuse.

Send the brief. Confirm the specification together.

Product direction and intended use are preselected. Add your quantities, size range, artwork status and contact details. TONTON reviews the requirements before confirming materials, sampling, quotation and schedule.
