Intelligent Garment Hanging System
Connect the panels. Route the work. Follow the order.
TONTON’s overhead garment production line transports sportswear panels and partly assembled garments between assigned workstations. Dedicated carriers connect material flow with station routing and order information, supporting the people who sew, finish and inspect each garment.

01 / THE SYSTEM & ITS ROLE
A production network above the sewing floor
Also called a garment hanging system, intelligent suspension conveyor system or intelligent garment production line. It combines material movement and production organization with the sewing workstations.

Load and identify
Place prepared panels or partly assembled pieces on the dedicated carrier, linked with the relevant production information.

Route to the next operation
Overhead tracks move the work toward the assigned station according to the garment route and workstation arrangement.

Hold work between operations
Carriers keep components organized while they wait for the next operation or move between stations.

Follow station progress
Station numbers and production records support progress review, queue checks and exception handling.
02 / CUT PANELS TO SEWING STATIONS
A planned route for each garment
Prepare the components
Complete the relevant cutting and decoration steps, then identify the panels by order, size and construction.
Load the carriers
Hang the prepared work on dedicated carriers or carrier groups.
Assign the next station
Send the work toward the appropriate operation and operator.
Sew & release
Operators perform the specified task, such as panel joining, sleeve setting, collar attachment, binding, zipper installation or coverstitching.
Review flow & exceptions
Follow progress, review waiting work and route items for the required next operation or rework.
Finish & inspect
Continue through finishing and inspection before the approved packing and dispatch route.

The operator still makes the garment
The hanging system manages movement and work assignment. It supports the sewing machines and operators at each station; it does not replace the actual sewing operation.
Printed, transferred, cut or embroidered components enter the route when appropriate for the product. Every order does not require every decoration process.

03 / ORDER & PROCESS VISIBILITY
Connect the carrier with the order
A carrier or group can correspond to the order, style, size or color being produced. Production information helps the team understand where the work is and what should happen next.

Order & style
Keep the current project and garment construction connected to the work.
Size & color
Maintain the relevant component identification during production.
Current operation
Review station assignments, handoffs and production progress.
Queues & rework
Identify waiting work and review the next action when an exception occurs.
Ask the project team which records and progress updates are available for your order. Routing, available fields and review points follow the production setup and agreed requirements.

From manual batch handoffs to overhead routing
Both arrangements require sound production planning and quality checks. The hanging system changes how work is transported, assigned and followed.
| Review point | Conventional batch handling | Intelligent hanging line |
|---|---|---|
| Holding the work | Panels or bundles are held in baskets or on worktables. | Prepared work is suspended on dedicated carriers. |
| Moving between operations | Teams manually carry and distribute the batches. | Overhead tracks support automatic transport and station routing. |
| Following the order | Batch identification and handoff checks support manual sorting. | Carrier associations and production records support order and operation tracking. |
| Workshop organization | Floor-level storage and transport need planned space. | Overhead space is used for material movement, while stations retain the working space they need. |

The system supports less manual carrying and clearer workflow organization. Finished quality and delivery depend on the garment, line balance, staffing, materials and inspection; no fixed efficiency percentage is claimed here.

Questions buyers ask
What is an intelligent garment hanging system?
It is an overhead material-handling and production-management system that carries garment panels, partly assembled garments and suitable finished items between workstations. It is also called a garment hanging system, intelligent suspension conveyor system or intelligent garment production line. Sewing remains a separate operation performed at the relevant workstation.
Which sewing operations can the line connect?
Depending on the garment route, it can connect panel joining, sleeve setting, collar attachment, binding, zipper installation, coverstitching, finishing and inspection. The order of operations and station assignments follow the approved construction.
How does it help track orders and sizes?
A carrier or carrier group can be associated with order, style, size and color information. Station assignments and production records help the team follow progress, review queues and manage rework. The fields and records available for a specific order are confirmed with the production team.
Does the hanging system sew the garment automatically?
No. The hanging line organizes transport, workstation routing and production information. Operators use the appropriate sewing and finishing equipment at each assigned station.
Does it guarantee faster production or eliminate errors?
It supports less manual carrying, organized material movement and clearer production visibility. Actual throughput and quality depend on product complexity, line balance, staffing, material readiness and inspection. Delivery timing and project requirements are agreed separately.
Where does it fit after printing, cutting and embroidery?
After the relevant printing, transfer, cutting and decoration steps, prepared components can enter the hanging line for sewing and subsequent operations. Every garment does not use every decoration process; the team confirms the route against the approved sample.
Which manufacturer operates this sportswear production line?
